Hello!

Welcome! I'm Sarah Mae (but you can call me SMae)

How many times have you thought, "I wish they taught me this in school!"?

The thing is, I've taught High School, and I know you probably learned some great academic skills (if you can remember them). But how to live a healthy, balanced life doing what you love? Sadly, not so much.

You are not alone. If you have ever thought that it is too late, you're not smart enough, other people just have more "talent" or skills, I am here to tell you that is all RUBBISH! - You are MORE than ENOUGH!

The good news is that it is never too late to create the life you dream of and I can't wait to show you how.

  • I will receive my Coaching Certification from the Human Potential Institute in August 2021.
  • Co-Founded the Best Life Coach Collective to de-stigmatize the coaching industry and build a community that both inspires and informs.
  • After two decades working with Children & Youth, including three years as a High School Teacher, I decided to become a Life Coach.
  • Lost 25lbs, helped my husband lose 50lbs, and increased my energy TENFOLD by Living WildFit.
  • Attended the B.C. Teacher's Institute on Parliamentary Democracy and received a Certificate of Teaching Excellence from the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
  • Finished my BEd with a concentration in Secondary Social Sciences and a Minor in Curriculum Development from SFU and became a certified teacher.
  • Moved back to Canada after 5 years in Scotland to complete my BA in Political Science with a Minor in History at UBC (Super useful).

Life

I live with my husband by the beach in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. After 10 years together he is still my best friend, my biggest fan, and my toughest critic.

Meditation

I started mediating when I was 11 years old during a lunch hour workshop. I credit a lot of who I am to this experience. I have not missed a day of mediation since 2019. On my journey I have trained as a 200hr Yoga Teacher and a 100hr Meditation Teacher.

Nanny

After travelling around Europe for 3 months I decided to spontaneously move there to be a Nanny. I had a brief stint working for the Benetton family in Italy then spent 6 months working for an amazing Aussie family in Switzerland.

Scotland

I lived in Scotland for five years where found a love for hiking. While there I completed the West Highland Way, the Great Glenn Way, and Bagged the 3 highest Peaks in the UK. Nothing beats sitting at the top of a peak after a hard climb and Scotland has some of the most rewarding scenery I have seen.

Acting

I started taking acting classes at Actorium Training Centre in 2018 and fell in love with acting. It opened me up to loving the process of life, understanding emotional intelligence, and really getting to know myself. I firmly believe everyone in the world would benefit from taking acting classes.

WildFit

In 2019 I stopped eating grains, dairy, and refined sugar and have not looked back. I just do not see them as food anymore and am happy to make my own food. I am eating to live, not living to eat. You can check out some of my recipes HERE.
