Yet, only 1 in 10 people make sleep a priority. 🤔

Not getting enough sleep can lead to:⁣

😴 Poor Productivity⁣
😴 Cognitive Decline⁣
😴 A Weakened Immune System⁣
😴 Greater Risk of Dementia/ Heart Attack/ Cancer⁣
😴 Hormone Imbalances ⁣
😴 Premature Ageing ⁣

1) Start caffeine intake 90min after waking and stop after 2PM ⁣
2) Move your body for at least 20min each day ⁣
3) Put electronics away an hour before bed or wear red light glasses ⁣

It is warming up, flowers are out, birds are chirping, and I could not be more excited for this break, which happens to be starting on a New Moon!

The obstacles seem stacked against us and we drag ourselves through the daily weeds. ⁣

Today is one of those days for me. Did I say day? I meant week(s)🥸

February was hard!

𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺. ⁣

But it will be rewarding.

READY TO GIVE UP?!? I was doing an acting exercis

READY TO GIVE UP?!?

I was doing an acting exercise the other day. In my scene I was on a deadline trying to get marking done and I really wanted to go talk to someone on the other side of the restaurant. ⁣
⁣
I got confused because I was thinking that my objective (talking to the person) was meant to be the most important thing in the scene. I struggled with the fact that my obstacle (marking) was so big that I couldn’t reach my objective. ⁣
⁣
𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵. ⁣
⁣
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. ⁣
⁣
Real life isn’t about skipping past our obstacles. 𝘐𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮. ⁣
⁣
It’s our obstacles that shape us. That teach us. That make us ready to embrace our objectives when we reach them. ⁣
⁣

👉 What are your goals right now?⁣
👉 What is standing in your way? ⁣
⁣
Make a list of all the obstacles in your way and then go knock them down one at a time. ⁣

Because you can, and you will. ⁣
