This is a quick cashew cheese sauce that I like to add to taco salads.
✅ 1 cup of Cashews (raw, unsalted, & ethically sourced).
✅ 1/2 cup Filtered Water
✅ Juice from 1/2 a Lemon
✅ 3 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
✅ 1 Clove of Garlic
✅ 1 tsp salt (I like Pink Himalayan)
✅ 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
✅ 1/8 tsp Chipotle Powder
1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.*
* If you do not have a high speed blender, you may need to soak your cashews first. In a medium bowl, add the cashews and cover with hot water. Let the cashews soak for at least an hour then drain off the liquid. Then follow directions above.
